Car is about 20-30% “firmer” (subjective!) than stock, but new shocks vs 60k mile old shocks have better overall dampening & rebound. Not horrible at all.

Car looks stunning. For a targa top on stiffer suspension and 18"s, you probably have butter smooth roads in your area

Ha - I live in NYC (but this is a weekend-only car). Outside the city things aren’t bad, it’s just that first and last 45 minutes from/to home.

It’s far from unpleasant but I wouldn’t go a ton stiffer. The Koni’s are, based on specs, softer than a “soft” PSS10 that many folks run. My original shocks weren’t in horrible condition but I’ve definitely noticed the Koni’s are less unsettled by freeway bumps, so some aspects of ride quality are definitely better.

No, that would be Wilson — @porscheguynyc on Instagram. He has BBS E88’s but we both have Arena Red 993 Targa’s.

I share his “the 993 was the Porsche I grew up wanting” backstory though!

I'd been looking for some wheel options and finally settled on these BBS RI-A's. These are 18" x 8" and 18" x 11", 5-130, ET48 (front) and ET50 (rear). I do have 5mm spacers in the rear as well. I really like how these turned out. Purchased from Rstrada and very pleased with that process.
