I hate suggesting a weight increase for a Porker :-)

But if you want the absolute best.. hands down.. then go to a Lexus dealer and listen to their Mark Levinson system. Google on the name and you will be impressed.

However... they seem to have a "sole provider" clause with Lexus as their site does not show automotive systems.

Good luck

Mark Levinson makes incredible home audio equipment. His Lexus stuff is great for OEM, but that system doesn't compare to a custom built system. I've only heard the ML once in an SC 430 about a year ago. At high volume levels, it just wasn't that pleasing to the ear and the bottom end wasn't sufficient.

I'm going with Rod too. His shop is about 8miles away and I'm doing it all. Subs in the back seat, audison amp under pass seat, new speakers, Nakamichi head unit and cd changer. And just received my big oval exhaust tips from Gert yesterday... so lots of changes are coming. YEEHAA

I'm considering the Rod Birch subs as well, but I'm concerned about giving up all of the rear floor space (the kids love to ride back there!). Is anyone aware of a simple way to mount them so that they can be easily removed? I have seen a few posts on this in the past, but I don't have any details as to how it can be done. Anyone have any success with the Rod Birch subs in a removable installation?

Thanks.

I don't think you want to remove them. First the wires run under the carpets. Second, the air enclosure needs to be tight to keep the tight bass sound. I have them in my car and would not think to try to take them in and out. How about shortening your kid's legs? Just kidding.........

The product is amazing, and I would highly recommend.......no affiliation, etc.
