Default What lube to use on mainshaft/flywheel pilot bearing

I'm in the final stages of getting everything rounded up before doing the engine drop.

New Mobil 1 engine oil, 14 Ea.: Check

Mobil 1 gearbox fluid, 3 Ea.: Check

Turkey baster: Check

12 pt. tool for flywheel bolts: Check

Clutch alignment tool, 1 Ea.: Check

Power Steering fluid: Negative... need to figure out if mine uses Pentosin or whatever, first)

Torque wrenches, 2 Ea.: Check

2 six packs, Shiner Bock: Check

Red loctite for flywheel bolts: Check

Olista Longtime 3 EP, Mainshaft/pilot bearing lube: NEGATIVE -And I don't know where to find an equivalent. Is there anything I can easily buy over-the -counter for this or am I going to have to call a dealership?

Yeah, I bet that would go over like a turd in a punchbowl... "Yes, is this the service department? Could you squirt some of this Olista Longtime 3 EP into an envelope and send it to me?"

Ahem... please see my location below my avatar... ...closest dealer is either Calgary, Canada (6 hrs), Denver, CO (13 hrs), or Bend, OR (~15 hrs) I have no idea where the closest independent shop would be? Boise, I think.

Living in the middle of no-where sucks. Damn Air Force.

How about a BMW shop? They may carry the stuff too.

Yup, all by my lonesome.

I'll have a few friends standing around, watching. I don't expect them to do much because most are "mechanically inept."

I'm just waiting on the new transmission (should have it in a few weeks) and then it's "go time."
