As Marcelo already confirmed in other thread, since it is the FIRST Saturday of the month it's time for the regular SBBC drive again.

Same time, same place as usual: Dunkin Donuts across from the Tower Shops on University and 595 at 7:00 AM.

Anyone can of course just "show up" but confirmation here doesn't hurt.

I'm not 100% sure I myself can come but I'll try to make it.

Well, I guess that last post makes me a liar - my alarm didn't go off, I woke up around 8 and figured you guys had already gone, very pissed off... how was the drive today? How many cars showed up?

I got my alarm set for 5:45AM...alarm did its job but body was not responding!!! And I had just Diet cokes the whole Friday night! ;- )

My friend Paul Laya told me the bad weather scared many guys and just 3 cars showed up...his 2002 996, a 964 Turbo and a beautiful 1967 912 that belongs to my friend Albert Mertz...the 964 Turbo owner brought his son and the four of them had breakfast up north...

Next Saturday I'll meet Paul at "Sundays on the bay" (Key Biscayne) to set date and organize the next "Porsche owners drive"...hopefully we'll bring together cars from our drive and the guys from the SBBC...I'll post next week the details for the next drive...lunch will be at "Sundays on the bay" but meeting points are not decided yet...

We'll try to set a great event...hopefully we'll bring at least 20 cars together from 356 to 997...next Saturday we'll have lunch there (Sundays on the bay - Key Biscayne) in order to speak to the manager and find out a way to get a special parking area and maybe a parking guard to watch over the cars while we are having lunch...I'll keep you guys posted about date and meeting points...
