6'3 220, seats are in the rear holes. If I sit centered in the seat there is no problem. For the most comfortable position of using the gas and clutch pedals I seem to sit more to the right, maybe because of having longer legs and avoiding my knee interferring with the steering wheel. So my butt ends up on the right side bolster which can be a pain after awhile. One thing I noticed while sitting in a 997 was that there seemed to be a lot more room in the seat.

My Primitive Solution
As a first step to solving this problem for me, I went to my local Joann's (sewing goods store) and bought a 1" chair set pad made of a not-very-compressible poly material and a 18" x 18" leather pillow case:
Then I placed the pad on the car seat and marked out where the bolsters start:
Then I trimmed the pad to fit inside the pillowcase:
The result is rather low-tech:
Perhaps someday I'll get a custom-sewn black cover that fits the shape of the pad, and is perhaps strapped to the seat somehow.
The important thing is that my hip joints don't get worse when I sit in the car, which makes the car a lot more fun

Any really good upholstery shop can modify your seat pan but it won't be cheap and might be hard to match the leather unless they are Pcar experienced............ZP44

At 6'3" 230, I, too suffer from "no ***, wide hips." Sounds like stock 997 seats may be one way to go. I get to keep an eye on the LA Auto Dismantler (no, God. No!) Wonder if there are any compatibility issues with seat tracks or bolt holes? Wonder if Classic Grey carried over to 997s?
Another idea I had was to give Autos International a call about flattening the pan a bit. They're not too far from me (Escondido). They certainly seem to have extensive P-car experience...

I'm only 6' 215lb and find the seat narrower than the last BMW and Audi seats I've been in. I agree with the comment about raising the flat part of the seat. It might buy you some more room. An upholstery shop should be able to add some dense foam although they might have to sew in some inserts. You could two tone the inserts. It might look good. The other alternative is to cut the side bolsters down and remove material from the bolster areas of the seat cover.

This may be a little off the subject, but what about shoe size and width? I'm a 9.5 to 10, depending on shoe maker, and I dont have a wide foot so its no problem for me, but 2 of my friends that have driven my car have larger feet and it was a little difficult for them with the clutch and brake so close to each other. I would think that this would be more of a concern/issue with the bigger built guys? I'm guessing you just get use to it?

6', 2" and 260 lbs. with getting old with shrinking **** syndrome here.
I use a memory foam pillow and lumbar support pillow on my longer trips (> 200 miles) and it makes a big difference for my buttocks and lower back!
In general stock 993/964 12 way adjustable seats are comfortable.
