Any updates on what happened? Did everyone get their lifters? I am only asking because I have started shopping for parts for my rebuild.
Cheers,

I guess I'll give Jerry a call. I told him to put me last in line, since I don't need them. But now I need to order some small maint. stuff, so I'll give him a ring and report back.

Got my lifters this past Sat. in the mail. I don't even need them, just wanted the great price for someday. If there's any way to tell which size my car has without taking an old lifter out, Id like to know. If I have the wrong ones, I'll trade them to someone else who needs them and has the ones I need.

Rick, and Jason,
These are readily available anymore from multiple suppliers. Besides Febi. GER and LUK are just two of the ones that distribute them. They are also dirt cheap and just as good as factory. I sold my last ones for $12 each. So MUCH better than getting them from a Porsche dealer.

Whenever we do a valve job on 993 heads, the total installed height of the assembly is carefully measured and noted so the overall lengths of the valves are maintained after they have been ground.
This ensures that the original lifters can be used.
