Question Windshield fit question...same for all 993?

Dear Gurus...are the windshields the same from 1995 to 1998...coupes and Cabs?

I have the chance to buy a 1997 Coupe's windshield (guy replaced with plexiglass for the track) but I'm not sure whether or not it will fit my 1995 Cabriolet...

I appreciate any help on this one...TIA...

My catalog shows the same part #s listed for 95 & 97, coupe and cab:
993 541 911 00
993 541 911 01
993 541 911 03
993 541 911 05
993 541 911 04
993 541 911 06

no idea why so many diff part #s for same car, some refer to tinting so i guess there are regional differences in tinting

Only difference is that the mirror mounting point on the windshield changed in 1995 at some point. Worse case, you have to buy a new, later style mirror if yours is an eary 1995.

Eric

P.S. Makes sure it has the antenna and green band at the top if your has that too...

But why Pedro? Do you not have glass insurance on your policy? Here it is covered 100%, and I had OEM glass as a replacement.

Hi Patrick...it's not cracked...I just have a small delamination problem on the corners and I'd like to have a perfect spare in case the problems gets worst...my windshield is OK...

Thanks...

I get it. I have that perfection thing going too, although your car is more perfect than mine will ever be.
