Default 993 bra/front cover source needed

If I drive my new find back home (~ 2,800 miles) I would like to locate an inexpensive bra for a one-time use.
What are some good sources online? Does anyone have a complete set that is just collecting dust?

Multiple layers of blue painters tape is what I would do. Cover your a pillars, sideskirts, fenders, wheels wells. If anyone thinks I am crazy drive your car cross country. I bought a car 800 miles away one time and I was ate up with rock chips when I got home. So I just ship everything now,but if I was going to drive I would have everything protected. My car would look like a ball of tape. To bad you can't protect the windshield .

I'll be driving through Baltimore early tomorrow morning and can bring you a complete 993 front bra to use. I don't use it. You could get it back to me whenever.

I would be careful with the bra.. My Colgan bra gave me some light scratches in my black paint on top of one fender that I had to work hard to buff out.... Now I'm hesitant to use the bra again and am considering Invincashield clear covers for the front .. I like 95beema's tape idea for the long trip... You might even be able to find painters tape of a similar color to your car that wouldn't look too bad..

How about painters tape under the bra? Especially at/near the attachment points.

The car already has clear protection all over the front. My idea was to test fit the bra, and then use painter's tape everywhere a seam or edge would rub on the paint. That, and staying far behind trucks, should be good.

I do not intend to set any land speed records on the way home

Oops - Craig beat me to it!

The bra over the clear cover should work fine for the areas covered by the clear cover.. Make sure your painters tape is applied all over the front fenders, from just behind the headlight all the way beack to where the bra ends. Thats where I got the scratches - a line of them about 1/4inch wide, 8-10 inches behind the headlight, that went from just above the front hood, around the top of the fender, and back down almost to the wheel well.

Rick,
It was great to meet you and the girlfriend this morning - not to mention your loud red beast! Thank you much for the cover.

Rick only had the full nose piece - not the hood cover. If anyone has one available for a short term lease, please shout. It will be returned promptly following the epic journey.

Andreas
