Default Nose re-spray

Naturally, the front bumper takes a lot of grief with all of the highway driving that I do. Just want to get some ideas on what folks have paid for a bumper re-spray. I realize that YMMV on such a topic, but I'm looking for a general middle of the road idea.

Parameters considered:
Area-Midwest
Re-spray w/o removal?
Competent work, but not high-end (I don't want the bumper to make the rest of the car look like crap ).

I'd then put the invisdible bra on, after any necessary waiting period.

Any input would be appreciated.

thanks!

I had my entire front resprayed.....getting blasted again. These cars are a magnet for road debris, and my car has 102K miles on it....I wouldn't spray it again, not worth the cost. I know that was probably no help to you....just food for thought.

I pulled mine off.... did the John D. DIY on the bumperetts, had a paint shop respray and 4 weeks later did the Invinca Shield install myself. This was last year, the front end still looks perfect. Total cost $450 and a little time and sweat. BTW don't forget the FPB and you'll be set.

Yeah, I don't remember my Boxster getting this pummeled. That's why I figured that if I could get it done for a reasonable price, I'd put the 3M bra on it.

I believe the switch to more environmentally friendly water based paint on the 993 is much more prone to stone damage than the newer cars... This was a first for Porsche and it took a few years to perfect the techniques...

I resprayed my car's front end when I changed to the Euro Turbo bumper. Had them do the whole front clip - hood, cowl, front fenders and side mirrors. Turned out great! I then installed the Invincashield clear bra.

I took my front and rear covers off to have some dings repaired, sprayed and they reinstalled for $800.

I had new Euro bumper installed, and entire front clip and side mirrors repainted for $1000.
