Rules for posting "Wanted" ad?
Are there any rules for posting a "Wanted To Buy" ad in the Porsche classifieds? I've looked all over and did not find anything noting this.

Hey Andreas..!
Yep - exactly!!! In the title - just put something like:
WTB: Pristine 993 with under 10K miles for less than $5K.. - well, or whatever you are looking for
Best to you!

John,
Thanks again! The fever has taken hold, so I immediately placed one in the regular 993 Classifieds section. Please let me know if there is any issue with it.

John D. I tried this, entered my membership #, and it said it didn't recognize me. I can't figure out why it won't take.

It does not take your RL membership number. You choose a new one specifically for posting in the classifieds section.

Odd, because when I click "post featured ad" it asks for my member #, last name and zip. Is there another way?

Oops. You're right. It does ask for membership number, name and Zip. Make sure that the membership number has a dash in it. Also check your caps.

Man, it doesn't get any more definite than getting your ruling from "da king".................... John D.
John, good to see you on the board every once in awhile. Too bad it's always gotta be to do with something site related and not pertaining to your 993. Hope things will slow down a bit for you one day soon so you can take a break to enjoy working on the car, instead. My best to you.

Anyway - if folks are having difficulty entering the Membersite, yep - please be sure that you use a "-" in your Member number. Also, the thing that usually messes us up is the ZIP CODE! So - if you used something like "12345-6789" as your zip when you sent your Membership to Jen, be certain you do in the login as well, OK??
If you still can't get logged in - you can pop Jen or me an e-mail, and we'll get you set when we get home from work (sometimes it can be late though)...
My thanks again to all!!!
John
