Well, at 1:58 today (when I posted above) I considered returning my HID kit before installing it, but Clive arguments were good enough for me--I ended up installing my HIDs tonight. I've really happy I did--they look great.
Now I have to do something about those front parking lights.

Glad you turned to the "light" side....
The fact is that I personally haven't done this yet (I *so* want to!), I'm just too busy saving for new shocks. However, there are so many people having done this and going "wow" that there cannot be a downside.
That Stern site does have a great deal of *very* useful info.... even if some of it is not quite explained.
Been thinking about those parking lights too.... wheels are turning...
