Default IT TAKES ONE TO KNOW ONE (YOU ARE RIGHT)

BECAUSE YOU GUYS OVER PAID,
CANT GET BACK RETURNS,
WHY WOULD I SPEND OVER $50,000 FOR A OLD PORSCHE
WHEN I CAN BE DRIVING A MORE EXOTIC CAR
LIKE A FERRARI INSTEAD OF
A OLD POOR MANS PORSCHE

CANT THINK BEYOND PORSCHE

So lets work this all out........

You come on here looking for us to assist you......
Don't take constructive critisism at all, instead try to prove us wrong on pricing of the cars you are really after but aren't on this board asking us about......
Ask a question like "why would I buy a tired old poor mans porsche when I can have a much more exotic ride......(isn't that how all this got started, you wanted a tired old poormans porsche and our help finding you one?)

Here's one for ya...........WHY ARE YOUR FERRARI'S PRICED AT 1/3 THEY"RE NEW PRICE FOR THE SAME YEAR OUR POORMANS PORSCHE'S ARE AT BEST HALF THE ORIGINAL PRICE???????
hmmmmmmmmm MAYBE 'CAUSE THEY DON'T HOLD UP WORTH A CRAP AND YOU SPEND THE NEXT THIRD OF ITS VALUE ON REPAIR!!!!

Ferrari's with < 10,000 miles are going for 1/3 their original price. Can you please tell me where I can find an < 10000 mile 993 for half price? .....I think it's more like the Ferrari's are worth 1/3 the 993's 2/3......

Well my original window sticker say 80+ grand on it........with low miles and no stories they are going for mid 40's (half original price). If I'm not mistaken, those 355's were 150K + (no?) when new and are now apparently in the 60's (almost 1/3 rd their original price). Non the less, last year they were going for more, at least when I looked. I decided I didn'nt want to spend that kind of money...low miles and all and then have to spend a fortune on repairs, so for 30 I could have a nice Porsche. And always being a VW/Porsche owner, figured I'd stick with what I knew. For the same 30, all you'll get in a Ferrari is an early 308, which itself has had a fortune spent on it for repairs......why bother? That was my point to our friend Mr. Moneybags.

And you prove my point even further. Try and find a really low miles 993 for under 50K. Every Ferarri has only a few thousand on them! They spend most their time in the shop!

If we took a 355 with 20,000 miles it probably would sell for about 1/3....I would think a C4s with 20,000 miles would be low to mid 50's.....High 40's would be an exceptional deal.....
