Chris,
Have you tried shox.com? They got me some when I was doing my install. Aren't they out in Cali nearby?
Also, have you tried calling NA Bilstein directly?

So now its 4:45pm and I need them tomorrow. Great.. For another $10, Bilstein is supposed to get them in the mail tonight.. We'll see...
What a disappointment to say the least...

Chris, I think I have two of them in the garage. I didn't use them for my front HD's b/c I used the Hergishimer collars to get the 30mm lower fronts. I can't see why I would need them at all. If two help you can have them.

I could use 2 if they are still available. How much?
Thanks

I'm a little confused.
Chris, did you buy new HDs and they were shipped w/o locking rings?
If so, is ths standard procudure for Bilstein?
The reason I ask is that I ordered a set from Gert and want to make sure I have all the parts prior to receiving them.
Steve: :
Thanks,
Scott

Yes, the HD's seem to only come with one lock ring on each rear damper (fronts too for that matter, but isnt an issue). I have never liked this config so I like to add two more locking rings at the rear just to lock the rear ARB mount in place.
I did have Steve send down four more of these lock rings as backup. I had a suspicion Shox.com would not be able to do what they had promissed, which was have Bilstein drop ship these for delivery today. I called them only because they were close and I thought this was my best bet. Low and behold, sucks.com called today and said they didnt get around to having these shipped. In other words, they waited too long in the day to ship them. They did, however, charge my credit card for something they never shipped.
I cancelled the order with them knowing that Steve had another set on the way (thanks Steve). Sucks.com then said that they wont credit my credit card since it costs them a fee to do so. Plus all the time they have invested in selling me something costs them as a business. WTF? I reminded them this is the cost of doing business and customer service is just that, cost.
Best they could do, is send me a check. And, they were soooo gracious to wave the 10% restocking fee. Restocking fee on something they never shipped? Again, WTF?
Needless to say, its the quality businesses that are worth spending money at. Not the mail order morons such as shox.com.

Yeah, sorry to hear your problems w/ them. When I did mine, I wasn't in a rush, so their inefficiency wasn't a factor for me.
Good idea on doubling up on the lock rings... so how many are you gonna be using on each drop link mount?
I just used one extra per mount... so, 2 per. If you've tried fitting the lock under the mount, you'll find you'll have to grind a bit of metal away so the ring will sit flush on the mount surface and not gouge into the arm portion.
Finally getting around to installing the suspension??? I thought you had done this already?
