Default WTB: '96/'97 TT

After much deliberation, I have decided to buy my first Porsche and am looking for a mint '96 or '97 Turbo, Black or Silver over Black interior, less than 30,000 miles, and a private seller preferred. I might consider other color combos, but the car would have to be really exceptional. Have cash in hand and just want to find a fair deal from an honest seller. Please email or pm any leads that you might be able to provide. Thanks in advance, Mark (and I am a Rennlist member )

pca.org, cars.com,ebay.com, autotrader.com

Take your time and be patient. It took me 8 months to find the right C4 993-black on black, detailed records, and timing. If you want to go big, there is a nice 97 TT S on Ebay right now-silver.

For the right amount, I could be convinced to sell

BUT it's got 65k miles. Very heavily maintained though.

Look at Steve's Arena Red / Grey TT. Its got more miles than your looking for, but its an exceptional car through and through. Even though he is selling, Steve is still upgrading the turbos

Exceptional car, really!

I second Chris' comment about Waldo, I've seen it in person and it's a really nice car..

Chris, BTW you still need to PM me your email so that I can paypal you for those Porsche stickers (which I finally put onto the car)

Hello Zedder,

If I may suggest.... look for condition. Buying a color for a used car may cost hugely in the future. Technical excellence is what you want

Silver and black??? Your gonna go to your grave in one of these colors. Live a little!

Thank you all for your responses. My search is just beginning, so I am sticking firm to my initial desires for the time being. I am in no rush at all and will only buy the "right" car from the "right" person. It may not end up being black or silver, but it will definitely be mint and low miles

I saw that TT S...and I don't believe the reconstructed story for a second. Nice looking car though!

JP: I saw a beautiful GR TT on the dupont site last night with 25K miles for $65K and will call on it today, however I suspect it will have sold since the ad was placed in March - if I get this car then I should be OK with a black suit as my final outfit

Thanks again to all.

With 18k on the clock this seems very well priced, may not fit your color combo... but Arena Red will grow on ya.

Keith,

Did not know your are selling. You have an incredible car with really low miles. Best wishes on the sale.

Mind sharing what you plan to replace your gem with?
