If I were to get this car, I'd let my car go for $55k. I think its worth more... there are lots of mods that aren't listed in the signature.

<edit> I've decided to sell my car for $60k. Its truly an amazing example.

Steve OFE - I spoke with the guy yesterday, and already talked to the shop where the work was done, so if dibs really mattered...!! I already have a call in inquiring about placing a deposit.

Be that as it may, no hard feelings either way.

I am going to call the local guy IF the Ruf can be had, and if someone else does not beat me there! In the meantime, my car is ocean blue metallic, sport seats (gray leather), deviating mn blue carpet, motoround, hifi, gerts bar, I have the RUF oil cooler sitting on my garage floor (in the box), as well as an RS pulley, short shift kit, motor mounts. At the moment the car is all original, o paint, clearbra. 22xxx miles. I am the second owner, all records (and extensive ones) are available.

 

Wow, this could end up being the largest "car swap" in Rennlist history!

I can tell you that HP is good... based on the 470HP in my Mercedes.

I know, I cannot imagine how fast that must be!

My kids have a need for speed too, my four-year-old asks me to "make the tire say eeeek!" Only one Mercedes, never on the p-car.

Well, I sent an email to Stedge... if he saw it first, then he gets first dibs. I wouldn't want to mess up a fellow Rennlister. And... he's a lot closer to Alabama. What happened? The seller called me and said he didn't hear from you and was about to run down his list and sell it to the next guy in line. I took it. I hope this is OK with you... I'm sincere in that I wouldn't want to mess you up, but he was about to call a Dr. in Texas, who was next on the list.

I must be nuts. I have a perfectly wonderful car. But the lure of the Ruf just overwhelmed me.
