Looking for 1995 Riviera blue car...
Having sold both my 1965 356 and my summer daily driver (A/C)...I'm starting my search for a Riviera blue car...if you might be considering selling yours or know about someone who does...please let me know...any leads would be much appreciated.
I'm located in Miami but I'll consider cars all over the country.
I'm looking for a car with 60,000 miles tops, garaged, not raced, with maintenance records and preferably used as second vehicle.
I'm offering an easy transaction and a careful new home for your P. car...
Yeah...I know it's not an easy task, that's why I'm open for just any body style as long as Riviera blue...
I'd consider as second option a Turquoise blue (1996)...the J1 blue turquoise, not the K1 turquoise metallic...the solid turquoise that looks like Riviera blue...
Let me thank you guys in advance for any leads or advice...

There is a Riviera Blue 993TT with grey interior that has been posted a few times for sale on eBay. It had pretty low miles and was well optioned; car was located in SoCal and asking price was $80-85K if I recall correctly. I think last time I saw that it was still for sale was late last year.

Too bad. There was a very nice and not terribly expensive one at RPM not too long ago.

I have an Iris Blue Metalic - which seems to be a universally well-liked color -- beautiful with purple tones to it in the right light.
I'm relocating to Shanghai for 3+ years and think I need to sell.
I just typed up an ad I was going to post in the near future on Craigslist, but would like to see it go to an enthusiast.
Best of luck!
1995 Porsche 911 Carrera
Overseas relocation forces sale
$31,000
62,000 miles
Iris Blue Metallic (must see, great color)
Grey & Black Interior
6-speed manual
VIN: WP0AA2996SS321305
Upgrades:
· RSR Muffler (a little more rumble – very subtle)
· Rennsport Software/Chip
· New Suspension: Feb.2004: H&R Springs, Strut Tower Brace, Gert Front Protection Bar, Turbo Sway bars, 4 wheel alignment at time of upgrade
Service/History/Condition:
· Complete History with 60K Service completed – all receipts with everything documented (including date/miles for: wiper blade changes, Techron treatments, brakes, tires, waxing) are available.
· Wiring Harness Recall completed
· Regular Techron treatments
· Regular yearly detail (wax)
· New Tabs & excellent emission results (Pass)
· New Front brake pads
· Tires: AVS Sports with 15% on rear tires; 25% on front – very even wear (I thought about replacing the tires before selling but thought it would be good for the new owner to see the even wear and select their own new rubber)
· A couple scratches in spots on wheels
· A few small stone chips here & there on front of car – normal/not excessive
· One scratch next to hood crest/emblem
· Passenger side electric window switch lowers, but doesn’t raise window (can be raised from drivers switch) Needs repair.
· Interior is in excellent condition with only slight visible wear on seat stress areas
· The only 2 problems I’ve had in 4 years of ownership is a stuck lifter right after purchase – may have been a crappy oil via deal oil change & RMS replaced. RMS wasn’t really necessary – very minor drip, but had it done as I had a aftermarket warranty and don’t like my cars to drip J
· Non-smoker
· Despite items listed above the car shows beautifully and is in excellent condition: at least a 7 out of 10 if not an 8+.
· I’m third owner. Owned for over 4 years.
· Extremely reliable & solid car

Nice car, and I absolutely love Iris Blue, but after four years you should know:
Rennlist will also accept non-commercial "for sale" or "wanted" postings to all Rennlist E-mail lists only, providing that these postings are not too repetitive. "Repetitive" means posting items for sale more than twice a week or more than four times in one month. These "for sale" or "wanted" posts should be limited to 40 lines or less. On the Rennlist Forums - similar postings will only be permitted if the author is a paid Rennlist Member in good standing. Others will be deleted without notice.
$17 is not too much to pay to sell a $31k car with targeted advertising to enthusiasts.

Fair point Dr. No. - I thought about this before posting.
Please note though:
I was a paid Rennlist member and it expired probably during my move last year (i never received a renewal notice)
I inquired a while back if there's a way I can renew on-line and I heard it was coming soon.
Though sensative to posting for sale I figured it was appropriate since this individual was seeking a "Blue 95 993" with 60K miles. I was hoping to connect with a fellow Porsche enthusiast maybe get them what they're looking for at a fair price.
I didn't know about the 40 line rule - any serious buyer would want to know everything I listed.
Next time I'll send them a PM.
Sorry

As somebody who was shopping for the past two years (and would have taken a hard look at your car - Iris is a gorgeous and rare color) I'm glad to see them posted here first. I just want the site to get its tuppence. Cheers and good luck.
