Cars with very high (80k+) or very low (20k or less) miles change hands at widely varying prices... because there are so few buyers for them but also so few on the market...

mf,
Doesn't look like a bad car. Its a dealer (stealer) so I would be twice as careful! I noticed it looks like it has a 944 shift **** (definately not stock), doesn't have the upgraded stereo (for whatever its worth to you) which means the sound isn't as good and probably doesn't have the CD changer. The GLH's.....well again, whatever thats worth to you. Interior looks to be in nice shape.
If it checks out, it is a '98.....last ones, it is a nice color. Up to you on the chips and digs in the paint (if it bothers you). I would go for it, but have it checked out completely (again unless you are mechanically inclined and happen to be able to steal it.) If it looks good......I would say 35 tops and only because its a 98. The miles are going to hurt......mine just turned 100K.

Good luck with it.

Default 96-98 C4S

When I was looking (yr ago)prices were all over the map....30's to 60's. I think low to mid 40's for a car in excellent, or at least very good conditon, is probably a good right price. Ebay got me mine.....bought it with a PPI only- (3000 miles away). Just from the message boards, it doesn't look like prices has changed all that much in a year.. There have been a few lately in Southern Cal. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

I got $58,900 for mine (silver/black) with about 30k on the clock. It was a very highly optioned '98 that had all the right mods... seller (me) and buyer (MarkL) are happy. I guess that's what counts.

I got mine with 40k on the clock and paid 43k for it. Excellent overall condition. I felt like it was a fair deal not bad, not great but fair for both buyer and seller and in the end worth every penny to me.

50k with 34 on the clock and lots of mods (tail, springs, strut brace, etc). Most seem to hover around 45-50...
