Viperbob, was this the Trackmasters T-hill event on 5-13? I was there too, although not in my 993 but my '75 Turbo. I would have liked to meet you. I saw the black Devek 928 there as well. I need to bring my '95 down to your shop for suspension work soon.

My wife driving her car in her first PCA DE. I know it's not a pic of our 993, but she did fantastic. The MINI is pretty modified, and she was right on pace with the Porsches.

BTW, am I dragging something in those pics. Look at the passenger front. Did I drop that or did I pick that up? I noticed a black liner on the track but assumed it was Lou Gigliotti’s (sp?) since he went in the pits (through the exit).

Yes, it's the fender liner. Glen gave me half of the liner at the track and the other half was left at Buzzards Neck. I removed the wheels today and saw that the front passenger liner is gone. That might be why the car wouldn't set properly before Tombstone.

BTW, it feels like the rear isn't setting properly, not the front. By looking at the pics, I wonder if the tires are rubbing under really high loads.

I have the car on jack stands and have been looking around. I don't see any obvious signs of rubbing on the car or the tires. I didn't notice anything in the afternoon sessions, but I wasn't pushing as hard as you. Also, why would it only happen before Tombstone?
I'm going to run the Pirelli slicks also during the race weekend, we'll see what happens, but I did order another set of Yokes yesterday for Q, sprints, and enduro.
