Quality Car Cover?
I am picking up my new 1998 C2S Phatty this Thursday and let me tell you I barely can frikin sleep! The anticipation is like no other. I need to purchase a quality blanky for her. Please recommend a cover cover you might have and why you think it would serve me best. The car will be parked in a newly sheetrocked and painted garage, completed with recessed lighting and music. Can't wait to stomp on the grapes! Thanks!

Wolf "Dustop". Indoors only, pleated (waffle) thick cover. Offers great indoor protection. Buy direct from Wolf or check Rennlist vendors - I'm sure several sell the Wolf product. Very popular cover and reasonable price.
For 'sex appeal' and 'wow factor' in your new garage, Gert's cover is the one to buy.

Go with a 100% cotton, they are great for indoor use. What I really love about them is they fit inside a residential washing machine and is recommended you wash them. On the synthetic fabrics, most are not machine washable or dryable. With cotton, it just gets softer and softer the more you wash it.
Why I like to wash my cover is when I clean my car, I start by throwing the cover in the washer and by the time I'm finished with my car the cover will be ready to go on it, fresh and clean.
The only negative with cotton is you really can't leave it outside, once you wash it, the repellent they spray it with is gone. But its good keeping UV and dust off your car.

If you're going to cover your butt make it look good. If you don't want to spend the bucks I'll make you a deal on my silver Porsche cover I got with the car.
Remember when you get the car you can't just drive Hwy 5 straight home. It's not allowed. The way from here to there is NEVER the straight one.
Can't wait to see your new baby.

Can't resist.... Your garage is a mess and there's a basket or something on the shelf about to fall on your car !! Come on, get your act together over there.

Has anyone directly compared the Wolf and Covercraft products? Both are available in the Dustop fabric which would make the distinguishing characteristics fit, finish quality and price

I'm quite happy with the OEM cover I bought in E Bay for $120 or thereabouts. It is waterproof, and has suede inlays were it contacts the wheel arches. Even has a clear window to see the rear plate (a legal requirement it seems) which my dog ate.
