I've been away a while in Uzbekistan and I don't get the chance to to log in as much as I'd like to. I log back in after a week or so and I'm playing catchup, trying to find the source of what's going on. I'm saddened to hear some of the long time members are moving on and that some are even looking for refunds. What the ....

I have always found this site to be a wealth of information and John D I particularly appreciate your sense of humour, which you have shown in some of your replies to my questions.

I hesitantly agree that the subject of the messages have changed from the time I first stated coming here with am emphasis on what mods you can do to your car to make it look more aggressive/beautifil than the technical issues. Not only that, the tone of some of the posters would preclude me, and I'm sure some of others from posting a reply or a question for that matter.

I enjoy hearing about a better wax, the virtues of 17's v 18's, Pedros ice wax, OBD II issues, DIY's etc. but I think many other issues would be better served by PM's and email or for that matter another forum.

I hope that some of the long time members who have contributed so much to make this board what it used to be, reconsider, come on guys, I'm going to need your help someday, and hey Viken, who's going to be able to tell me if some obscure brand of wheel will fit on my C2 and how much they weigh.

Dan, I was not aware of all the BS that has unfolded since the rumble until JoAnne kindly PMed me and told me where to look. In the interest of trying to get this place back to "normal" I pulled my two replies. I appreciate your concern, another member PMed me with sentiment similar to yours and I will definately speak my mind when I see fit, but I don't want this thread to turn into another garbage disposal candidate, especially with all that has unfolded recently.
