Kim,

That was an awesome story. I have a C2S too and I am starting to find myself participating in more and more track events and learning more and more every time. I hope my story unfolds and fun successfully as yours has. Thanks for sharing.

Kim,

That's got to be the BEST post ever. Absolutely great! Loved it! A real Rennlist classic. I really hope you will continue to keep us up to date on your spec Miata, or whatever it may be, activities.

Now I'm going back to read "the BEST post ever" again.

Thanks for sharing.

Kim, that was almost touching and believable....I am disappointed though that You are not willing to share the real reason for Your departure....Since Kim is unwilling, I will disclose the truth.

Kim has been taking lessons from the World Famous Driving Coach/Car Control Specialist that most of you know as GhettoRacer!

The bottom line is that since Kim has been getting tutelage from Frank, Kim no longer needs to own several race cars...Frank has not only taught him how to go faster than ever, more importantly Frank has taught Kim how to Drove others cars instead of his own...

Luv Ya Bro!!

After not actively selling the car for almost 2 years....and finding out that I only put 400 miles on the car in between smog checks (2 years...)....the circle is now complete...

The funny thing is Ken, the new owner, offered to let me drive it at Thunderhill next Friday...

Now I just have to sign the check over to the shop that maintains my race car and provides track support and I'll be even for the year....

Sorry to see YZ head off (I still remember watching folks heads turn in response to your exhaust note when I followed you on the street) . . . but glad you found a worthy new owner. I do hope you have informed him of RL

Congrats on the sale. Have a great specmiata season!

All the best....

I'm too new to have been around to see this post a couple of years ago but what a great story. A bit of a sad ending but great story...

Stunning looking car!

Kim, thank you for sharing the story.
I'd didn't know you and wished I was around when you were active in RL board.
You truly stand above all of us for living the life of dream..."Speedracer!"
I believe it was your first P-car "Silver Bullet" that started the path and the YZ just ignited the blaze that was already a spark!
Though you are currently in a miata spec, please one day come back to the make that started your dream into a reality!
Remember you are a lifetime RL memeber!
