Anytime. Sorry the pics are so LARGE. I figured out how to lower the pixel resolution so they would be sized small enough to upload, but I have no clue on how to change the size so you don't have to scroll.

As soon as I get a moment to attempt the install, I'll let you guys know my impressions re: fitment.

OK... everyone should have recieved a PM from myself with payment instructions. I'm going to send Nick a check for the first 10 tonight or tomorrow. Once checks are in for the first ten, I'll send him money for the second set of 10 and we can sort out the balance at the end by that time we should have checks in from everyone who seriously wants a set. This way, Nick isn't left holding the baby for everything by himself.

I think it would be easier if I buy the 10 sets from Nick myself, and then sell them individually at , say, $260 shipped. I would do it through my own corporation so I can use the FedEx or UPS account.

Sound OK to everyone? If so, I'll start another thread to list the names out.

How do we lose the "bumperettes" ? Does this require a whole different bumper?

If you want to lose the bumperettes, you'll need a euro-spec bumper, or to fill in the gaps left by removing your buperettes with bodyfiller.

You can keep your bumperettes and install the ducts, if that is what you are asking.

I asked Gert a similar question this week. Here is his response:

If you remove the bumperettes, you will have to fill the 2 gaps that are in the bumper and have it repainted.

Afterwards, you need the Euro type turn signals instead of the short US turn signals.

An alternative is to cut off the part of the turn signal that is sitting in front of the bumperette and re-seal with clear silicone.

..............................
I'm not quite sure I follow the alternative he describes, but apparently installing the Euro turn signals on the US bumper will remove the front bumperettes. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

If you remove the bumperette, the "long" OEM clear lens will fill the gap where the bumperette was. There will still be a notch above the lens, in the actual bumper itself, that needs to be filled. Euro bumpers do not have this notch. HERE is a link to John D.'s DIY on filling the notch. I'm about to try it. There is no OEM "short" US clear lens. The ones for sale are simply a Euro version that have been cut down and the ends sealed with silicone. You can do it yourself or buy one already done - ends up being the same thing.
