Default 993 Turbo S Ducts in classifieds

Has anyone purchased/installed or have any perspective on the 993 Turbo S ducts that are in the classifieds? Link here:
Link to Ad - 993 Turbo S Ducts

I'm wanting a set for my C2S and the description sounds attractive and the price looks OK.

Comments welcome.

Rick,
Not to disparage this seller but for $70 or so difference I would probably go with a known seller like Mashaw. The quality and reputation are proven. These ducts may be great quality but I just don't think I would take the chance for $70. Now for $170 difference ... that's a different story.

Rick-
I saw the same thing today and had the exact thought....anyone with info?. What do they cost, (w/ 55watt fogs), through someone like MA Shaw?

AFAIK, the ducts sold by MA Shaw (made by BW Motorsports) only come w/37.5W #894 fogs.

I inquired of the seller recently by e-mail. I got a response saying that he would catch up with me by phone for details -- gave my cell number and never heard back.

Really? If true, it must be a change since I bought my ducts from Mike Shaw. At that time they were made by BW Motorsports. In fact, Mike referred me to Brad to discuss a bulb alignment issue. Both were extremely friendly & helpful.

BTW, if true, Nick may wish to rethink his marketing. Most retailers don't like to have their price undercut by their supplier.

Default Stand corrected

I knew someone else made them for MA Shaw, B W Motorsports is correct. The gentlemen I spoke to a B W M is EXTREMELY helpful and knowledgeable!

FYI - B W M is working on a urethane Turbo S spoiler for turbos.

I just received these from Nick and they are of excellent quality. A bonus is the 55 watt H3 bulb. Nick was very quick to call me back several times, as I had questions and was a bit hesitant like some of you. I'll post pics when they are painted. I have had MA Shaw's Turbo S ducts and bridgewing on a previous car and Mike makes great products also.

Cheers, Brad

Brad -

Thanks for the input. I think I'll follow-up with Nick. Maybe he just mis-placed my phone number or deleted my e-mail??? Sounds like a cool item.

Hey Brad,

What are the charging you to paint them? Are they easy to install?

TIA!

Count me in on a group buy also. Hopefully someone can get ahold of Nick -- I shot him a 2nd e-mail last night, but have still not heard back. Thanks.
