Would they fit the US bumper (black rubber bumperettes) without modification? I like the fact that I can use my PIAA bulbs.

Yes, they will fit....The european bumpers have a longer sidemarker lense that covers the area where the bumperette on the US cars are...

I haven't decided which paint guy I will use so do not have a price yet on finishing these.

i have heard back from nick:
If 10 sets are bought I could probably go down to about $250 per set
which would include shipping (& insurance) to one person... who could
then disperse them to the other guys that want them. Let me know how
that sounds.
Right now I am in the middle of two big projects, which will take me about
10 days to finish... also I do need to order more lights, as I'm running low
on them, so that will take me about 10 days to get them in as well. I'm
ordering them no matter what...so let me know how it goes, and give me
about 2 weeks to get 10-12 sets ready to go. I am running behind on a
bunch of projects, I need to work 16 hours a day to keep up ;o)
