8 years and 8 months. 1996 C4 with 6K miles when I got it. Now ~35,000 miles. Got there with 100 gallons of M1, 20 filters, 12 plugs, 16 tires, 3 belts, 2 rotors and dist caps, 3 air filters, 1 set front pads, 1 set floor mats, gotta be quarts of wax, 1 gas filter, 1 spoiler wall, 1 battery (2nd is still ok for now), I don't want to know how many gallons of fuel, misc fluids (brake, tranny).

Ten years (bought new, took delivery Oct 15, 1997). Still remember that day very well, it was such a good day. It is AMAZING to me how few original owners have posted on this thread -- must be just 1 in 10. I don't get it, why would so many people buy this car new and sell it???
