Has anyone else encluntered this problem?
Yep...I've had the same "cruise control" issue as well. Pain in the ****...

Thanks for the links! Too bad I'm nowhere near NY! These guys from your first link do amazing stuff with the V1! wow, talking about really stealth installs! Especially the Bentley and Mercedes install are unbelievable...
Anyone knows any California shops doing similar stealth installs?
I love my V1 too, but I really hate that thing sticking on the windshield in view of everyone. Most of the times when I was travelling on highways other cars would follow me close, obviously seeing my V1 which is something I really dont like as well. Even putting it behind the mirror is visible and one one occassion as I was stoped by a friendly HP Officer I had to scramble to put it away...

What was the turn around time for an upgrade? TIA
Valentine received it on March 3rd, and shipped it out Fedex 2 day on March 4th.

I have had my V1 for about a year now, I love it and it has saved me for certain twice, both with plenty of warning so that I could sit and look innocent as I cruised passed the officers.

Somebody mentioned upgrade...what is it...I will go look at V site...is it on there? How much and what does it offer???

Valentine offers upgrade on all of his units for a nominal fee. As the years pass, new technologies are being used to measure our speed and Valentine wants you to be able to detect those new devices. Go to the Website and input your serial number...it'll then tell you what you may need. It's well worth the time and effort...

I can't count how many times my V1 has saved me. The last time was a month ago when I was hustling my Sequoia along a country road. The dectector went off and I braked hard and quickly (I usually drive with my left foot over the brake), only to see a county cop hiding in a driveway off of the rural road. Part technology, part habit and part reflexes saved me from getting a ticket.

Thanks, Mike V!
