Default Mobile 1 Decal Placement

Anyone have a pic they can post showing the correct location of the Mobil 1 decal in the engine compartment? My '95(build date 2/'94) either did not have it originally or it deteriorated and was removed by PO. Picked up the new one yesterday as well as several other odds and ends. Like most everyone here, once you have new pieces/parts/upgrades for your baby, no matter how trivial, it just eats at you until they are installed/replaced,etc.

Thanks,
Jeff

My bad for posting before I'm awake. MOBIL, before someone corrects my spelling!

Jeff,

Mine is a '97 - should be the same placement. See photo # 4....

Interesting, my 4/95 build '95C2 has "Shell Original Fill" decals in the engine bay.
No picks with me here...

Rick,

The decals are available from the Porsche dealer - they have a Porsche p/n. I think the number is in small print on the corner of the decal. If not, let me know, I have extras and can get the p/n off it.

Mike,
Thanks for the pic. That's what I was looking for.

My late model 95 993 has Shell sticker, not Mobil 1.

I think Porsche used Shell as the factory fill oil on the '95 models, then switched to Mobil 1 in 1996.

Jeff,

You're welcome. I read the above posts re the "Shell" sticker in '95. Wonder if this p/n is still available? That would be "correct" for your car. I checked the PET and this oil sticker does not show up under the "Accessories - Sticker" section at all. Probably easier to go with the Mobil 1, unless you plan to show your car.

What's a good price for one of these decals? What does the stealer charge?

Rick, I don't know what a "good" price would be, but I paid $3.06 for mine from Hendrick Porsche in Charlotte.
