I'd also be interested to know how you got on at Amd as I chatted with the chaps on the AmD stand at the Porsche Festival at Brands last summer. What work did you have done there and are you happy with the result?

although that's where I found out my varioram wasn't working ! bhp was down to 260horses and peaking at only 4.5k !
as for AmD, I used them a lot in my TT days but although they were great early on, much better than any Audi dealer..and very recommended..
my final experiences weren't so good, minor dent on car which was denied, parts taken off without my knowledge and then I find out about it myself and having to help them diagonse problems on my car over seceral visits... although that was all down to a single mechanic "nathan" who was a bit of a know it all and lacked customer service..
but work done by "craig, ed & scott" were all top class and highly recommeded
and it is andy (ex.autofarm who are not too far away!) who looks after the 911 stuff and I would recommend them.... and hope to get my car there one day for a remap !
but as there are many more Porsche service & mod's shops than Audi shops, there are enough local places that I use...
.... if I still had the Audi TT then it would be Amd all the way (but I'll pass on using Nathan!)
regards
