Source for front floor mats with colored crest?
Looking for a source that produces good quality mats with the colored Porsche crest. I know there's someone out there making them, but I can't located the contact info. Please PM me with details. Thanks!

there was someone on ebay selling these about 9 mos ago...I think he was based in the US but had these manufactured in Brazil. Technically he is infringing on the Porsche copyright.

Richard, I think Lloyds has the Porsche contract again. I would have bought the Lloyd mats if I had known they were going to get the contract back.

Just called Strasse USA. According to them, Lloyds isn't producing the mats with colored crests, and no one ever will again. I know someone out there is making them...

I did a search last week on floor mats or floormats (all open forums) and found a number of links to ebay auctions selling them out of Brazil (since they're unauthorized). Lots of 924/944 guys buy them but I personnaly found the PORSCHE script and the crest to be a little cheesy. Sounds good on paper, though.

To the best of my knowledge, no company sells authorized/licensed Porsche crest floor mats. There are counterfeit Porsche crest mats available such as the one shown above that is sold on eBay. I heard a rumor that the Porsche family did not want people placing their feet on their crest. Who knows if that is the true story. It is true that Porsche has finally authorized Lloyds to produce mats with several logos/lettering such as the Porsche letters in red, Carrera 4S, and other such scripts/letters. I think that any retailer that sells Lloyds mats sells these styles and they are pricey.
However, compare the crest on the above counterfeit mat being sold on eBay to a geunine Porsche crest such as your hood crest. I took a quick look and noticed that it is missing the word "Stutgart" which appears in the upper middle section of the geniune crest. There may be other minor differences in graphics or color. Most people would never notice. The crest mats look great in my opinion even the fake ones, however they are technically not correct or authentic. Eventually, maybe the Porsche legal army will catch up with the eBay sellers and shut them down, but another will soon pop up.

That's probably why they're being made in Brazil.
In addition to the little errors in the crest (which aren't so bad), the PORSCHE logo is simply out of proportion; it should be much wider for this height. It just screams "knock-off" to me, but most people aren't so picky I'm sure. Here's another example of how misproportioned letters can look just cheap and wrong:
No offense to anyone who has these mats, it's just my very humble opinion.

I see you are in Laguna Niguel. This Sunday (Feb 6th) is the big Porsche swapmeet at Long Beach Veterans Stadium. This was formerly known as "Dunkels Swapmeet" held the day after the Porsche Memorabilia Meet at LAX.
Anyway, last year some vendor had new sets of mats with the crest embroidered for sale. If you can, drive up to Long Beach and check it out. This year will probably be huge since it has outgrown Dunkels facility. Lots of Porsche's and stuff for sale.

I have original mats w/crests and jz993 is correct. The repos have the crests embroidered into the mats. The originals mats have high quality embroidered patches sewed onto the mats. What?? Only the edges of the patch are sewn to the mats.
The logo is much bigger on orig.

My buddy got some mats for his 996 C4S with a massive crest embroidered into them. He said there was some guy in the L.A. area doing these; maybe the same guy Robert is referring to above. They were VERY pricey (say maybe $500-600+ for my friend and I think he said the guy asks more at car shows). If anyone is interested in this, let me know and I'll try to get the contact info from my buddy.
