I think if you did not get in on it and already paid in full before the order was placed, it's too late, unless you can find someone who is willing to give up their spot.

I got my canvas jacket from the Pelican group buy almost a month ago. It is a great jacket. I think the problem is the leather jackets which I also have one on order. As it is now hot down here I am not in a hurry at all and am just thankful someone is willing to put in the work to get us all a good deal. Once again let me say thanks for all the effort.

Robert, you are the exception to the rule on the Pelican buy, right? I think they only shipped a handful of sample jackets out of 50 orders. If I'm wrong i'll be pissed cuz I haven't gotten my jackets yet. The fellow who put the buy together doesn't have any idea when the jackets will come in.

Guys, as I am leading the Rennlist group buy, I will post an update here.

They are having issues getting enough jackets here as promised. I was told that they would ship to me the week of April 11th. They told me this on Tuesday of this week. I was also told that they would have shipped a few weeks ago, so they are definitely back logged and having issue with supply. I think this is the case for most of the Pelican folks as well, though others can chime in about that.

I will keep you posted as I will be calling late next week or early the following week to get an update on the in coming shipment that is to fill our order.

Eric, you are not alone. I don't think hardly anyone has received their jackets yet. I know I haven't. Hopefully soon.

I have some good news and I have some bad news (well not so good news).

The jackets arrived today and everything seems to be in order. Unfortunately I am leaving for the POC Tribute to Lemans tomorrow morning and do not have enough packing material on hand to package and ship tonight. I will of course ship on Monday when I return. Sorry for the bad timing but we have jackets!!!!!

I will post again when they are all shipped.

Yes, you are for this buy, but now that I have seen the product up close and personal I would do another group buy. Let's get these out and in everyone's hands first and see what they think. I think they are very cool!

If you think that is bad, image getting all these jackets I now have and none of them are mine because I was orginally on the Pelican order as well I really want to take one this weekend to POC but they are not mine, they are "yours" from this board.

Dakota Industries said they were getting a large shipment so hopefully the Pelican order will be filled shortly!

You are da man Kary! Please let us know when the next group buy will be and if anyone can post a pic of the actual jacket being worn that would be good, just to get a better idea of the sizing.
