ATTN SF Bay Area Rennlisters (BAR) Drive: Sunday July 13th...
OK…I think I have sent to everyone that wanted a notification of the BAR Drives ( and omitted those that don't).
We are scheduled for another drive on Sunday July 13th.
Same meeting place: Let's plan on meeting at Hwy 92/35 between 7:15-7:45am in the PARKING lot (this is a Vista Point ON Hwy 35 - Skyline Blvd on the Southeast corner of the intersection of 35 and 92). We will take off no later than 7:55am. I will bring Coffee...I will get there at 7:15am.
The Route (1st option):
We will head West on 92 to highway 1. We will head South on 1 to Pescadero Road (this is the intersection about 5 miles beyond 84). We will head East on Pescadero Road and wind our way back to 84). We continue East on 84 up to 35. We will head North on 35 back to 92.
92 to Half Moon Bay: 5 miles
Half Moon Bay to Pescadero Road: 17 miles
Pescadero to 84: 13 Miles
84 to Skylonda: 7 Miles
Skylonda to 92/35: 10 miles
Total Drive: 52 Miles
The Route (2nd option):
The above is a simple Option and rather short compared to last drives…I am open to any recommendations. My goal is to get the group together! I do not know the hills as well as many of you I am sure.
Unfortunately, Terry will not be able to make it this time so I am looking for a volunteer to bring Doughnuts. (NO PRESSURE TOM If no volunteers, I will be MORE than happy take care of this.
Each of the last 3 drives was attended by no less than 20 cars. These are great events, so make an effort to join us.
Anthony

Well, I have had a lot of confirmations so far!
I only received 1 route suggestion, from Carreragt:
...the esses on Skyline one mile north of Alices have been resurfaced and they’re now clean (free of the gravel) with some minor mid-corner bumps, but much better than before. Of course, remind folks there’s zero run-off, some hard cliffs and very steep cliffs where an “off” will turn into a lot more than a fender-bender."
So, I think we should modify the drive a bit. When we arrive at 84/Skyline (Alice's Restaurant), we should head south for a few mile towards hwy9. For those that live in the SouthBay, you can continue on to Saratoga, others can drop down Page Mill or Retrace back to 84, then down to 280.
I will print this up and bring copies...
I will arrive with coffee and Dohnuts at 7:15 sharp.

Still messing with the CE light. Don't know if I should drive the car, fear of damaging something. Can someone bring their OBD II Scanner so I can reset the light?

I learned very quickly that the driver is the secret, not the turbos...
Absolutely no need to be a Rennlist member, although this is encouraged as it does support this forum.
Glad you can make it...
