Post Weltmeister Chip for 95 993

Hi there,

My next improvement is a weltmeister chip for the 993. Has anybody installed one of these in tehir 95 993?

I am curious to see if there was any perception of difference when installed?

Just curious. Why?

Steve W. is local to you and can program the chip to your specs.

I second the Steve recommendation. You can't beat the level of service he provides, as well as what seems to be an extensive knowledge of these cars.

I was told long ago that the the weltmeister was the best brand for chips. I put one in my 951 and it was great. these only run 250-299 in cost and I have had a good experience in my 951...

Depends on what you're definition of best is... That phrase sounds familiar. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Are you saying that cheap is the best?

The key factor is that the weltmeister chip is off the shelf, I believe. Why not get a chip programmed to how you would use the car, what type of gas you use, etc.?

Good response and thank you for the input. The bottm line is that the weltmeister is now going for half price of the others and I have had a very good experience with past products.

there is a bit of an attitude that extra $ produces more value but I prefer to maximize the value proposition as a professioanl salesperson and engineer.

Does anyone out there have a specific experience with a 95 993 and the weltmeister chip?

thanks
