Post 993 with 18" Sport Design wheels - Any Pics?

Hi,

I have a 1994 Midnight Blue metallic 993 C2 (ROW spec) and I am in the midst of finalising a deal on some OEM Sport design alloys in the states.

Does anyone on Rennlist have a picture of a car with these wheels. I have seen one in the flesh and was taken by it some time ago...just need to refresh my memory.

Much appreciated.

Why is it that 996 wheels look sooo much better on a 993? That looks nice!

Gert,

Thanks muchly

I have seen your car on your early site. It was one of things that drove me to choose these wheels. They look very sharp. I assume the bolt on with no real mods. I will run 225 front and 265 rear rubber on they - is this how you have them set up? Any spacer? It looks like you have ROW 030 height or RS height suspension.....

Kind Regards

The red car belongs to a friend.
It is a ex-USA '96 C2 with the RS Aerokit and H&R suspension at RS height.
The Sport Design wheels can be installed on any narrow body 993 without the use of spacers.
The tires sizes on these Sport Design wheels are 225 in the front and 265 in the rear.

Looks great.
Does anyone know the weight of each wheel?
And how would it compare to the weight of 17" factory Cups?

thanks

Could you tell me how much 2 piece sport design II wheels weight (18x7,5" & 18x10" wide)?

Thanks!

FF,

Sport CLASSIC II's are lighter than the Sport Design above.

8" x 18" - ET52 - 23.3 lbs

10" x 18" - ET65 - 28.0 lbs

Both are great looking wheels.

Thanks for the weights, info. and pics.
Both very nice looking wheels. I got to get off this board....making it hard for me to stay with my 17" Cups :-)

Just keep telling yourself that the cup wheels are lighter. That's all I can do myself.
