993 with 18" Sport Design wheels - Any Pics?
#16
Are there any issues with the lugs/bolts/nuts etc.. are they interchangable. What are sport designs and sport classics going for on the "open market" for rims only, not Ebay.
Thinking of upgrading
Thanks

Jerry,
As long as you use the factory lug nuts, there are no issues.
For a bit there we all thought that the taper of the lug hole was off a bit between 993 & 996. But after further review, it seems not to be the case.
Cost wise... Retail: I see Sport Design & Sport Classic II sets (rims only) for around $2000 used. Or $650 each front, $750 each rear in Panorama.
I see new car take off sets at Porsche dealers w/ tires for $2950.

You know, I really DO like the look of my 17" Cups. The problem is I have to keep telling myself that after the likes of you people keep posting pics that tempt me!!! <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" />
