Default Wanting a more agressive look!

Fellows,

Currently, I have Eibach springs. Although, my stance is lower than stock, I want a more agressive look...I want it a bit lower. I've been thinking of getting a set of Coilovers, either H&R or PSS9's, but since I don't track the car, I feel that it would not be worth it for me spending that much money for them.

Can someone recommend another set of springs that have a much lower stance than the Eibach's and where I could purchase them. A pic of your car would be appreciated.

Thanks Everyone,
Romeo

Out of the popular springs available for our cars, Eibachs are widely known as lowering our cars the most and then H&R's and then M030 springs. You don't mention what type of shocks you have on there. Are they still stock? If so, I'd go with Bilstein HD's with H&R springs. This is what I run and I am literally slammed to the ground. Of course, you don't have to go this low with the Bilstein HD setup, it was just what I wanted at the time.

jdoc7: I can't believe I am not 100% positive on the type of Shocks I am using. If not mistaken and very likely, I am using Koni.
kkim: Don't know at this point. I can check as soon as I get home this evening.

jdoc7 and kkim: would you happen to have pics of your cars you can send me. asprer@aol.com

I am assuming that the Bilstein HD's are 'short strocks' compared to my Koni, and maybe that is the reason why my stance is not as low as I want it. Is my assumption correct?

The springs are what actually lower your car, not the shocks.
Are you sure you have Koni shocks, when I was shopping for shocks, Koni did not even have a shock for the rear on the 993. They only had shocks for the front.

Kelly..your car looks great. I see that you are running PSS9's. It is my understanding that the PSS9 is a full coilover..ride height adjustability is one of its benefits.

I am wondering how the Bilstein HD's height compare to the PSS9's(out of the box setting) with H&R springs compare. By the comparing Darin's stance and yours, it seems as if your stance is a bit lower.

Am I correct?

Thanks! Your guys rides ain't to shabby either.

Matt- I knew even before buying my car that these are the wheels I wanted. I can thank Ponchobroke and Martin S for having them on theirs when I was roaming the boards in the days when I was dreaming of owning a 993. Dreams do come true.

Darrin- splitters are in the shop being prepped for a respray. The shade just didn't quite match and since I'll be having the RS tail being sprayed soon, I asked him to redo the splitters too. Man, this polar silver paint is a real PITA to match. Just pray you 'll never have to get something redone on yours.

Romeo- You need to check your ride height and then decide how low you want to go from there. My advice is to keep it sensible as too low scrapes everything. There is no out of the box setting. You can adjust the PSS9s for whatever height you want from the git go. If you look at the numbers Darrin and I posted, mine is actually a bit higher than his. Must be the picture angle.

Romeo,

I will post a pic soon. Ride height from fender to ground is 24 1/4 front, 24/12 rear
