How long is the show going on for? I just went to the SD show last week but it is always a letdown compaired to the bigger shows. Is the LA show worth the drive up? Thanks

The show runs through the 16th. The Porsche exhibit is pretty extensive (no GT3, though), and they actually let you sit in a Boxter and 997. You can also get up close and personal with a 959. If you go, try to be there early in the day or near closing time. Evenings during the week can get so crowded that it's not fun. If I have to wait for one more 11 year old to finish pressing every button on the Boxter's dash while I wait in line for my seat time . . .

I was just there Saturday and I saw a yellow GT3 there, behind the wall near the Carrera GT. Also there is a very clean '70 or '71 red 911S coupe. A classic! The 959 was a treat as well.

Wow, what an awesome porsche display. I hope they bring some of those cars to Chicago this year. Last year their display was pathetic; their best car was I believe a C4S or maybe an 04TT. Jerks.

Sheesh ... how lame of me to miss the GT3. The Carerra GT must have distracted me.
