Looking for pics of aftermarket wheels on 993s
I'm starting to look for aftermarket wheels, primarily for track use next spring. I plan to mount 245/35-18 tires up front and 285/30-18 in the back (Pirelli P-Zero Cs that I can drive to the track), so I'll probably go with 8.5" and 10" wheels.
Does anyone have pictures of Kinesis K58 wheels on a 993? I haven't been able to find any on the web.
How about other aftermarket wheels on 993s, to help folks trying to see what looks good? There are a lot of different styles and finishes out there, which has made the decision a bit confusing for me.
One last thing: has anyone mounted 245s on the stock 8" Technology wheels (seems a bit narrow for this size tire)? Any downsides? Thanks!

245s won't work on 8" wheels. Do not try it !!! With regards to wheels, have you looked into the 993 RS Cup wheel made by Speedline? Hank Cohn just bought a set for his 993 and they are the most beautiful wheels that I have ever seen!!!!

You can put the 245's stock 8" wheels no problem, but if you are custom ordering go with 8.5 and 10.5.

Hi Anir
I have an extra set of 18" CARGRAPHIC RACING WHEELS for 993 & 993TTs with or without Pirelli P ZERO C tires. The wheels are slightly used and are $2195 and the P ZeroC tires are $995. Let me know and they are light, easier to clean than most other wheels, 3 piece, and you can use Porcshe center caps or centerlock faux knockoffs. The tires are 245/18 and 285/18s

Erik and Greg,
Thanks for the pics! I wonder if RUF makes their 18 or 19" wheels in 8.5" width (which I agree is a better size for 245s, if available)?
Joe,
Do you have pictures of the Cargraphic wheels? Forged or cast? What are the widths? I've already got a set of brand new Pirelli P-Zero C's (paid $950), but might be interested in the wheels. At this point, I'm trying to gather pics of mounted options for the 993.
A friend in Indiana told me about a set of Dynamag magnesium wheels custom made for the 993TT, but I haven't been able to find a pic of these either.
Thanks again!

RUF makes them in 8,5" and 10" that goes for both 18" and 19".
I have more or less decided to go for the 19" Chrome Optic finish (245/35, 285/30) My brain just have to catch up with my heart on this one

looked great but there was so little rubber I thought it was a rubberband covering the wheel
Me thinks - RUF should know

This is a picture of Lee Walczak's car. I think he has the Cargraphic racing wheels. They look a lot like the BBS LM's (another wheel to consider). I think Gert sells them.
