Default Wanna make a wheel swap?

I've just endured my latest mood swing and am now seriously considering going back to a factory look. Anybody interested in swapping their 18" turbo twists for these Roocks?

They are their "Competition" model made in Germany (by Ronal), 2-piece polished cast aluminum 18x8.5 and 18x10 wheels and give an aggressive look and stance. Real wide offsets look great on my NB but may be better suited to mounting on a wide body, especially if your car is lowered. I haven't had a rub problem on my NB, but mine's not lowered. Originally cost approx. $2,500 for the set.

Currently have Michelin Sport Pilots on them - rear (285/30/18) are pretty much worn out and front (225/40/18) have approx. 50% left; I'll gauge them on request if you're interested.

These wheels are about 7,000 miles old and have no curb damage, dents, bends, scratches or nicks (other than 2 small - the size of a pinhead - on the right frt). Superb condition. I can send more pics for those interested.

I'd like to trade them straight across for 18" factory twists (hoping for factory painted 8"/ET52 ft, 10"/ET65 rr) in comparable condition, with or without the tires. Or will sell them for what I can buy a set for on Ebay; something like $1200?.

Give me a PM or call: office - 877/507-0554 in Atlanta. If you email me you might not get through my spam screen, but you can try at chambers@srlx.com and be sure to put "PORSCHE WHEELS" as the subject.

John,
I will trade you! I have turbo twists. I'm located near Atlanta too! I am planning on removing my wheels and professionally refinishing them, so I could do that and trade you. I'd give you some $$ too if you want. I could paint them any color you wanted (porsche color or other), and the finish would be as good or better than factory. You can email me at mark@bentonandparker.com if you like.

Edit: By the way, I am located in Gainesville.

That is a very good angle to photograph the car. Well done. Love that rear arch! Rear tire looks monsterous too.

Thanks for the compliments! I can't take the credit. It was taken by a buddy that knows photography--I don't. The tires are, in fact, monstrous... a little too monstrous. They came off of a 996 and I am just using them until they wear out; they rub (295/30).

What size tires are you riding on?

The fronts are 225/40 and rears are 295/30. A 245 would be much better in the front, as the car understeers a bit as is. The rears also rub a small amount on the inner liner, but on a WB that wouldn't matter.

Doh! These are the wheels I really wanted prior to purchasing my MY02 Lightweight 5-spokes. I really wish they made the 18x10's with the correct offset for NB's. I think they are only available in low offsets for the WB's, as evidenced by their very aggresive stance on JC's NB. Great looking wheels though!

jdoc7,

They do look aggressive and I think they'd work fine on a NB with the fenders rolled (never seen it, just hearsay).

The rears are 11" and come with 295s

The wheels offered are 8.5" front and 10" rear, but I don't know the offsets. I think they might be stamped on the inside. I'll have to pull a couple to see.

The rear wheels are stamped ET 50 and fronts ET 45. I believe this refers to the offsets.
