Default OT - New "Play-House"

Guys,

I did a hangar expansion this past spring and summer and now that the 993 is there I thought I'd post a photo. My neighbors at the airport call it the "Play-House". Probably not to far off.....

The hangar is about 2,500 sf, well lit and I installed a Direct TV system with three monitors (42" and two 20") and eight speakers. There is also a five CD/DVD changer. I had the floors professionally epoxy coated and it really helps keep the building clean and makes it a lot brighter.

The 993 is up in the air, but I'm not sure for what reason, other than to try out my modified jack stands and give the wheel wells a good cleaning. I can't think of what else to do to this fine car.

Thought some of you would get a kick out of this photo - especially the pilots in the group.

Guys,

Thanks for the compliments.

Keith: I noticed the car color match to 57W's stripe when I first looked at my 993 at the dealer three years ago. I thought it was a sign of good karma....

Evan: I was hoping you'd come by for one or two (simple) DIY's. That's why I have all the space!! Well maybe a Ferrari Modena would fit....

Mark: Probably no lift for me. The things I enjoy doing on the car are mostly cosmetic and putzing around. You guys are way over my head as far as what you do on your cars. I actually enjoy working on the airplane a lot more than the 993 - simple systems and you can stand up and do 90% of the work!!

Mike: very sweet. I like the flat panel hanging too. Can I move in? Looks like the 993 is trying to fly too.

Very, very nice Mike! Being a fellow "plane" nut, I can appreciate the setup! Only thing marginally better might be to have the house attached to this and be living at the strip! ;-)

Feel free to send more pics anytime!

Eric,

My first airplane was a 1974 Beech B24R Sierra (N2175W). They are great. Lots of room, three doors. You had the multi side covered too, with the Duchess - easy transition back and forth.

Thanks for the kind note.

JP,

Yesterday I was watching the Buffalo Bills crush Cleveland while changing the trunk (front) hood struts.
