Post NYC Area Porsche Roads

Anyone know any particularly good roads that one can get to within 45 to 60 minutes of Manhattan (NY)?

I'm looking for interesting roads to drive on on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

Go out to Hunterdon County NJ. Many great roads. For starters head to the Delaware River (look for Lambertville- Frenchtown on a map).

Might be too far for you, but Catskills north of Suffern were nice (grew up in Mahwah, NJ).

Take 95 North to 287 to 684. Then get off in the Golden's Bridge area... Routes 35, 121, 138 and a lot of the other "country" roads are pretty nice... My mapping program says it should be about 45 minutes from Midtown...

Go over GW and head up either 9W or Palisades Interstate Parkway. Nice roads, and good scenery up PIP.

Another option is the Merritt Parkway up toward CT. If you below to PCA the NY Metro and CT Valley region have "Treks", and they always have some great P-car drives.

JPL...if you decide to come up 684 to route 35, I'd be glad to meet up with you for a coffee and cruise, I live in the area.

Thanks for the help. Over the next month or so I will make a point to try each of these roads, the novelty of my 993 isn't wearing off.
