Thumbs up

I've had them on my 993 since last October.
They took the place of the old S02's.
I'm happy with their performance.

Check the archives, the differences between s02's and s02a's have been discussed before.

They are in my opinion MUCH better than the so2 that I had on before.

I now need new front tires, but have 1/2 worn S02s in the rear. Does anyone see a problem with putting S02As in the front until the rears go away? I actually could use the extra width with these wheel widths.

Front- 225-40-18 on 9 inch wheels
Rear - 285-30-18 on 11 inch wheels

(I did search the archives, but didn't see an answer to this Q)

While not ideal it's probably OK as the tread patterns are similar....I will have to make a similar decision when my rear SO2s wear out. btw, if your car is a 2S you may want to consider increasing the front to 235 or 245.

David,
The tread patterns between the SO2 and SO2A's aren't even close.
Are you sure your looking at the SO2A?

I might be wrong, but I thought the SO2A was designed for the Ferrari 360. It has a completely different tread pattern to the SO2.
Viken would know.
