Is the headliner in the 993 vinyl or leather? What are the other standard leather surfaces besides seat surface and back?

Seems to me if it is a partial leather car you get the fronts of the front seats and maybe the steering wheel. Everything else is an option. My PO just forgot the sun visors and the seat tilt up dohickeys and the seat power surround and the seat belt receiver and covers. That was the salesmans fault, cause the PO told me that for the money he thought everything was in leather, and that he did want it that way.

My sunroof headliner is vinyl. I think all 993's are vinyl.

i think the headliner in a turbo is leather .. mine looks leather, but can someone please verify.

The headliner and sunroof cover on my '98 C4S are in leather. Sun visors are vinyl.

I'm sure you could order the headliner, doors, dash, etc, in leather if it suited you.

You could. Mine's listed as "Leather, A/B pillar, roof liner" on the Kardex.

Other options listed, "Leather:

- dash vents/covers
- Instrument *****/switches
- seatbelt locks/housings/roset
- door switches/rings/*****
- sunvisors
- steering column
- power seat switches/frame"

Seeing as I just took out my head liner I really could not tell you weather it was vinyl or not. It was very thin and tough stuff, so maybe it was leather. I will have to look it up and see since I bought my car new in 1997.

Thanks for the replies!! I just purchased the car and it needs a detail inside so I just want to put the right treatment on the correct surface. My option code sticker doesn't mention anything about optional leather so I figure all have for leather is the standard leather trim.
