Irregardless of the rear fenders, the front bumpers from either variation can be interchanged between narrow and wide bodied cars. Robin's car has a Turbo front bumper but is a narrow body otherwise.

Therefore, (I want to make sure I have this right)

IN MY '98
-cabs and targas were obviously not wide-bodies
-So the only coupes produced were tt, 4s, and 2s?

I guess that would explain why in MY '98 all coupes were wide-bodies??????

thanks for the clarification!

Apart from the the tt factoid... you seem to have gotten it.

Insofar as you are referring to US model yrs (could not tell where you were from), note that the turbo was only produced as model yr 96 and model year 97. I do not know if there were turbos produced in Europe in early 98 (I have a feeling that they might have been produced but dont know for sure).
All turbos were widebodies.

Yes, a total of 800 Turbo and Turbo S cars were produced as 1998 models for the ROW. USA production of these cars stopped in 1997.
