looks nice. What is that in place of tachometer in your picture?
Its the STACK tach/timer. It replaced the tach and has shift lights, split timing, lap timing, exit speeds, final speed and other usefull data providing you have all the ( expensive ) sensors. Love the shift lights, especially on a race they are very usefull, hate the timer so far as I have not made it work for me yet. We relocated the laser sensor and hopefully that is going to take care of that. I wanted a clean solution , instead of mounting things or having to alter completely my dash and this instrument has all that.
DJ's tip is a good one. When I changed my shifter I didn't know of DJ's mod on using the old boot and at the time Gert only had black boots. So my boot went from tan to black, which kinda clashed with my center console and seats....next thing I knew I started changing everything I could from tan to black!

There was nothing positive about your criticism. As I first stated: if you can't say something nice....
My comment regarding your child was not about the child, but about you. Sorry if you somehow missed that. My point was that someone who posts negative comments and allows his child to play in the street, has bigger issues and should not be taken seriously as a critic. I'm glad that's not the case.
And Georges believing in freedom of expression is not remotely related to accepting your remarks. How would it make you feel after researching a modification and then actually performing said mod, someone pipes in with nothing more than "old shift **** was better". How does that help, educate, encourage, or support anyone on this board?
You never addressed my first query. What value do you find in criticizing someone elses effort to improve their car?
JRG
I am very sorry to understand that you judge people and conclude if they have to be taken seriously or not according to the Avatar they have posted...This shows how short sighted someone can be.
I remember posting pictures of my aerokit after installing it and having received responses very close to the one I have posted. Some people loved it and some people hated it. Do you thing I judged any one of them on the board because of their response?? Do you believe I studied their Avatar to conclude how reliable their answer could be??
If I have not answered your question in the way you are expecting it ,this means that I do not see any value in answering it.
He he...I'm always prepared when I race. If I did not belong to the HWFM racing team I would start " Redneck Racing, Beer all the time "and market the cooler
