Please, please, no "Ranger" on my resume. Ranger training is 9 weeks (I think) of gruelingly insane corporal punishment. I am a dilettante who received the same training over a much more extended period of time, something like 24 weeks, while going through Special Forces training. Us SF guys never could understand why someone would go to Ranger training!!!

Special Forces? Oh crap. I take back all that stuff I said in my earlier post. I was just kidding. Someone else typed that stuff, while holding me captive. Never mind the six-pack, I'll be bring you one... what sort of beer do you drink?

I'll confess, I'm a wuss!! Never mind that I spent 10 years on active duty, 7 in Special Forces. Then had about 20 years in the Reserves, mostly in Special Forces and Special Operations Commands. I'm plumb worn out, burned out. Don't drink, so save the beer for someone else.

As HWFMR team great Swede I can vouch for Joe being no wuzz - he did at a weak moment in his life let me drive his SL55 and it took less than 90 seconds before I heard words about how slow I was going.. No man is a Wuzz when asking the great Swede to go faster..

You cannot believe a Swede!! He is impugning my indignity.

I am a wuss!!! I drive slowly, and when I try to drive fast, I can't go straight.

Having worked with Special Forces myself (in this case SEALs) I can vouch for Col Ramos. But just dont make em mad.

How come both guys with Special Ops experience both have GT3's?

Although I havent hurt mine.

SEALS are the CRAZY guys. Went to jump and SCUBA schools with SEAL teams. Those are the guys you don't want to make mad. SEALS will hurt you, SF guys will talk you to death.

I didn't do it right the first time it seems. I got to have 2 Southeast Asian vacations, both in SF camps. One in the Delta, the other on the border with our Cambodian friends.

All kidding aside, thanks guys for serving our country. It is the best place in the world to live because guys like you keep it that way.

I will point you by on the racetrack anytime, even if your cars are watercooled. (Not that we would ever be on the track at the sametime, unless one of you was instructing DE.)

I wondered if I'd tread on some intra-service protocol with that label. Don't tell my brother-in-law; he's SF now, and is still jumping out of perfectly good airplanes.

Thanks for your service, and congratulations on coming out the other side to be able to trash perfectly good GT3s.

Hey Guys

I'm 61 going on 97, not going to last much longer. How about a vote? Or should I start my own application thread?

How about a team name that uses "Special Forces" such as:
HWFM Diletante of Special Forces
Special Forces, HWFM
HWFM User of Special Forces (rather Star Wars-esque)
