PET was never on PDF, afaik. That was the factory manual. PET is a windows application.

 

The latest version of the PET is made up of PDF's. For searching why not use a pdf reader that allows you to search?

Yep - i need the installable version. Adobe acrobat is a reader program and sorting through hundreds of pages gets old.
the old version allowed you to quickly drill down into the section you needed to get to - while not that user friendly it is pretty fast.
BTW the PDF version of PET (or the parts catalouge) is orginized into 1 large file per model for instance the 99-00 GT-3 Katalog is 282 pages.

The pdf files have bookmarks, so it makes it easy to drill down. If you are using acrobat, select the bookmark view, that will let you select the different sections, without paging through the whole file.

yep - that is the way i am using it - but i need part number searches for cross reference new part numbers.
