I would like to convey thanks to everyone posting pictures, it is a while since we have had a good 993 wheel thread. I am again looking hard at my limited options, due to my enforced offset requirements 9x18 ET 33 and 11 X18 ET 18. I really like those K28Rs of Poorboy's and think they up date the classic GT2 look beautifully. I am currently considering Techart Daytonas as they are working out if they can make the rears to my offset requirements - but I'm not sure, they are a strong wheel, but maybe a bit heavy and I am not convinced of the look.
Please keep the photos coming

Hmmmm. Phil, that may not be a bad idea. The only consideration is darkness. With the lighter wheel you have contrast as opposed to a more monotone look. One would look brighter the other more menacing. Both have their place. Who, do you want to be?
Hal, that is one outstanding picture of your beautiful car. I never get tired of looking at well photographed Porsches.

The Alan's pictures give an easy comparison, and gold on black looks terrific!

Thanks Alan,
As you said previously, looks too menacing... IMHO... Since black metallic does at times give off a brownish/gold subtone, I find the gold centers better...

After agonizing a while on should I or shouldn't I, I have managed to find what I really wanted to begin with. BBS produces a street version of the BBS GT wheel which I posted at the beginning of this thread. Instead of a magnesium center, it has an aluminum center. It apparently can only be obtained exclusively from a tuner, Inden Design.
Inden Design
I am waiting for their offer. They can deliver the wheels with the BBS gold center, so that it is exactly like the one I originally wanted, except street-legal...
The offsets allow mounting 8 to 9.5 inches in the front and 10 to 11.5 inches in the back! (fenders need to be rolled....)

You could always just buy the smooth aluminum centred BBS wheel and simply remove the centres have them powdercoated gold. (Just remember to mask the edges and bolting surfaces so that they fit back on together.)
