Some symptoms of carbon buildup are sluggish accelaration, rough idling, poor gas mileage to name a few. Although in my case it was easy, my engine light came on. I had no idea until i took the car in for service. I dont care what anyone says, 50K miles is NO REASON for this to happen, even on short commutes and i am hearing this IS NOT an isolated case. Being as it may, i am not a happy camper at this point. PS: I've used Techron as well periodically. Joe B 96 C4.
