M033 springs???
Hi all,
I'm busy changing my original shocks by Bilstein HD.
Cleaning my springs, I noticed that both the front ones have three blue dots which is from M033, but on the rear springs...nothing!
Should they have also the three blue dots?
Thanks for your help!

Thanks to both of you,
I was a bit confused. I thought that all springs had to have the same colour reference.
Maurice, sorry! Of course I was not refering to you!

Toga,
What is your impression of the combination of M033 springs and Bilstein HD's? How does the ride and handling compare to your new/worn OEM shocks with those springs? Thanks.

hI NRK,
it's a bit too early to give you a complete impression about it. Corner balancing and alignement will be done only end of october. But for what I felt during my 10 minutes test on the worst road I know here around, this is firm but not hard. The car is absorbing the bumps. But I don't feel the noze plunging like it did with the dead shocks, or the car just not absorbing the bumps, like it is on a friend's RS with Koni.
I took my decision after reading a lot of posts here on Rennlist. With my profile of 95% road and 5% track, it seems to be the best compromise.
I hope this helps. More to come later.
Cheers

100% street with occasional 100mph plus hiway jaunts. car is corner bal and aligned. firm enough but not harsh. good for targas i think.
more aggressive track guys probably need something different.
