I could move into the loft

That's a great space for storing and working on the cars but I'm not sure that storing one car over the other is a good idea. If the wrong fluid leaks out of the top car overnight it could strip the paint off the bottom one where it lands. Even oil on the soft top would be nasty.

Are those pads under the cars, or just grey tile?

I'd like to have my garage floor painted with one of the garage paints that are being sold all over, and have the pads under the car to prevent hot tire pickup....and because they look good.

The snap together tiles are nice, but expensive, and I wonder how much leaks under them...especially in Northeast winters when you come in the garage with pounds of salt, ice, and snow clinging to the car.

What a neat garage! That's what I want our garage to look like when it grows up.... only Bigger!
We've got house plans with a deep six car garage IF we ever decided to build it. If that's not enough Porsche space, then we are really, REALLY crazy!!!

JoAnne

PS: Many lifts have and option of purchasing removable pans that slip between the rails for when your car is suspended above another. Better safe than sorry.

Funny my garage is almost a Carbon copy of this one, go figure.

You know I'm kidding, and I'm sure if you can build this garage you would certainly have a full time attendant stationed most of the time directly under the raised car laying on the top of the car underneath with a towel on his chest and his mouth open trying to catch any fluid that might dare drip down. I just cleaned up my garage but now my will to continue fixing it up further has been dealt a cruel blow.

Holy smokes, if I had a garage like that, I would never leave it. Set up my studio in there, a murphy bed and I'm set.

Especially when the car on top is 996.

I like his priorities, garage looks nice inside but outside looks like ****.
